Los Angeles Plays Itself is an interesting documentary about the portrayal of architecture as it relates to their usage in movies. An good point was made about the fact that more often than not the houses are used for villains and their evil doings, but in my opinion, it can also be said that that is actually more the consequence of the stereotypical villian's power and the hero rising above that. As far as I know, the fact that villians live in these extremely creative and extra cool houses only adds to their allure and doesn't take from their appeal, as the documentary states. Defintely try to give the documentary a look, good stuff.
